GENERAL

Q. Are there hotels giving discounts for festival goers?
A. There are currently no hotels offering discounts for the festival. If that changes we will announce. 

Q. What hotel do you recommend?
A. The closest hotel is the ACE Hotel, which is right across the street from The Crocodile. 

Q. Is the entire Festival at the Crocodile??
A. Every band night EXCEPT for Friday June 28th is at The Crocodile at the Madam Lou stage (downstairs). The panels will all be at the Here and After theater at The Crocodile located right next to the Madam Lou Stage. 

Friday the bands will play at El Corazon and there will be no panels.

Pre-party is at the Mercury @ Machinewerks.

TICKETS

Q. I want a refund!
The festival tickets are our primary way to sustain the festival and make sure the bands and venues are paid. Therefore no refunds!  Full refunds will be issued in the rare case the festival is cancelled. You can however transfer your tickets to someone else on Ticketwebs website anytime.

Q. These fucking service fees are outrageous! 
A. Yes they are. Unfortunately the ticket fees are completely out of Mechanismus' hands. Our venues do not have control over the fees either. If ticket fees are pushing you over budget and you or a friend live in Seattle, we do have local businesses and The Crocodiles box office (open weekly 12-5pm PST)  that will have limited number of tickets for sale. Best way to avoid the insane service fees. Please check the ticket section on this site for a full list of places!

Q. Will tickets be available to purchase during the festival?
A. This years festival has less tickets available than the previous years. If you want to go it is HIGHLY advised you get them early. We cannot guarantee tickets will be available at the door.

SUBMISSION

Q. I want my band or DJ project to play the festival.
A. The festival for 2024 is fully booked and our standby list is full as well. 

Q. How do I submit my band/DJ act for the festival?
A. We do band submissions during July and August of every year. Please watch our Facebook and this site for when that goes live.

Q. Why did [insert band name] not get selected for the festival?
A. Lots of factors contribute to how bands get picked. Popularity, cost, fan requests, etc. On top of that we typically get hundreds to thousands of band submissions and fan votes every year.
